After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Sandburg, Blue Island Eisenhower was happy to have turned things around  on Saturday. They skirted past the Solorio Sun Warriors  4-2.
 Bernabe Astorga made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  pitched five innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   six  hits. Astorga was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with three  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Adrian Torres was  excellent,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-1.  Adriel Castro was another key player,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-4.
The  win  got Blue Island Eisenhower back to even at 1-1. As for Solorio, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Blue Island Eisenhower will venture away from home to  challenge Thornridge  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for Solorio, they will take on De La Salle at 12:00  p.m.  on Monday.
