After a string of five wins, Littlefield's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 47-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Idalou Wildcats. While losing is never fun, Littlefield can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 365th, while Idalou is ranked 115th).

Littlefield now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Idalou, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Littlefield will take on Friona at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Idalou, they will head out on the road to take on Muleshoe at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Idalou is facing Muleshoe at the right time seeing as Muleshoe is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
