Mathews won the last time they faced Northampton and things went their way on Thursday too. The Blue Devils walked away with a 3-1 win over the Yellowjackets. The victory was some much needed relief for the Blue Devils as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

Mathews' win bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Northampton, their defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Mathews will venture away from home to challenge Essex at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Northampton, they will head out to take on Windsor at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
