The Chapman Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 22 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Spartanburg Christian Academy 69-36 on the road. The win was familiar territory for Chapman who now have three in a row.
It was another big night for Krislyn Wilder, who went 6 for 12 from beyond the arc en route to 24 points and 4 assists. The contest was her 11th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Annastyn Smith, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Chapman has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Spartanburg Christian Academy, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chapman will take on Carolina Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Spartanburg Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Prince Avenue Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
