After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Little River Academy, the C.H. Yoe Yoemen were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They came out on top against Lexington by a score of 42-34. For C.H. Yoe, this counts as revenge for the 37-29 loss Lexington walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2023.
Yierra Flemings was her usual excellent self, scoring 23 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Camryn Ward, who scored six points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
C.H. Yoe's victory bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Lexington, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 16-9 record this season.
C.H. Yoe will head out on the road to face off against McGregor at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Lexington, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Little River Academy at 6:00 a.m. on Friday. Little River Academy is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
