The Westside Rams scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 93-30 win over Pickens at home. That looming 93-30 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Westside yet this season.
Zeke Marshall continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 17 points along with three steals. He hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jakylan Brown, who scored 12 points.
The win got Westside back to even at 8-8. As for Pickens, they bumped their record down to 4-11 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westside will challenge Easley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Easley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 last Tuesday. As for Pickens, they will head out on the road to face off against Berea at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Berea is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
