Madeira and Indian Hill are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long. The MUSTANGS/AMAZONS will take on the Braves at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Madeira's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They put the hurt on Deer Park with a sharp 17-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but the MUSTANGS/AMAZONS sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Braden Wallace looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, Carson Shafer was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, three RBI, and one triple. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. Tyler Carpenter also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
Madeira kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Deer Park didn't got any hits.
Meanwhile, Indian Hill got the win against Taylor on Monday by a conclusive 17-6. The win continues a trend for the Braves in their matchups with the Yellowjackets: they've now won five in a row.
Ben Sichel tossed a big game, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up five earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits.
At the plate, Indian Hill got a massive performance out of Ashton Graham, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Brady Drost, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one double.
Madeira pushed their record up to 12-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Indian Hill, their record now sits at 8-5.
Tuesday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Madeira has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .431. However, it's not like Indian Hill struggles in that department as they've averaged .493. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Madeira skirted past Indian Hill 4-2 in their previous matchup on April 11th. The rematch might be a little tougher for the MUSTANGS/AMAZONS since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
