Laverne entered their tilt with Mooreland on Thursday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Bearcats 14-4. Considering the Tigers have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Felix Teal, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. K Nichols was another key player, going 1-for-3 with five RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

Laverne's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-6. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Mooreland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Laverne will challenge Arnett at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Mooreland, they will venture away from home to challenge Watonga at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
