Waubonsie Valley extended their postseason success on Thursday against West Aurora. They really took it to the West Aurora Blackhawks for the full four quarters, racking up an 82-44 win. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 contests by 22 points or more this season.

Waubonsie Valley's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Arianna Garcia, who went 7-for-11 en route to 16 points in addition to eight rebounds and six assists. Garcia is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in each of the last three games she's played. Danyella Mporokoso was another key player, going 12-for-23 on her way to 27 points along with five assists and five boards.

Waubonsie Valley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 16 consecutive games.

Waubonsie Valley's win was their 22nd straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 29-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.1 points over those games. As for West Aurora, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 21-5.

As of now, neither Waubonsie Valley nor West Aurora have any future games scheduled.
