Two weeks ago, Oak Ridge strolled past Crystal City with points to spare, taking the game 53-35. 53 seems to be a good number for Oak Ridge as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Meanwhile, Marquand-Zion scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They walked away with a 68-60 win over Eagle Ridge Christian. The win was a breath of fresh air for Marquand-Zion as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Oak Ridge pushed their record up to 9-5 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Marquand-Zion, their win bumped their record up to 3-8.
Everything came up roses for Oak Ridge against Marquand-Zion in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 as the team secured a 96-49 win. Will Oak Ridge repeat their success, or does Marquand-Zion have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
