Master's Academy is 8-2 against Cornerstone Charter Academy since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Ducks at 6:30 p.m. Master's Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.

While Master's Academy's win against Mount Dora Christian Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles skirted past the Bulldogs 6-4.

Master's Academy got a big performance out of Trey Seluk, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. That's the most stolen bases Seluk has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Cy Smith, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Cornerstone Charter Academy came up short against Legacy Charter on Wednesday, falling 11-3. The Ducks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cornerstone Charter Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Rodda, who went 2-for-3 with one double. That double was Rodda's first of the season.

Master's Academy is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for Cornerstone Charter Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12.

Master's Academy took their win against Cornerstone Charter Academy when the teams last played back in February by a conclusive 9-1 score. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Ducks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
