Parker blew past Woodlawn, posting a 59-27 victory on the road. The result was nothing new for Parker, who have now won three contests by 32 points or more so far this season.
Parker can attribute much of their success to Teralyn Hill, who scored 12 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals. The game was Hill's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Janiya Mines, who scored 7 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
The victory (which was Parker's fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for Woodlawn, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Parker will take on Pleasant Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Alabama (Pleasant Grove is ranked 30th, while Parker is ranked 38th). As for Woodlawn, they will be playing at home against Carver Birmingham at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Carver Birmingham is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
