Durfee have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They and Framingham go head to head on Friday at 7:00 PM in their first playoff contest of the year. Durfee are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the match prepared for a fight.
Things haven't been easy for Durfee, and their matchup two weeks ago only extended their streak of losses to six. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 0-28 walloping at Brockton's hands. Durfee were down by 0-20 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, the match between Framingham and Wellesley last Saturday was not a total blowout, but with Framingham falling 20-35, it was darn close.
The last time the two teams met, Durfee came up short against Framingham the last time the two teams met, falling 6-19. The loss knocked Durfee out of the playoffs, so expect them to come at Framingham with a vengeful fire.
