Cranston West took their match at home on Thursday with ease, bagging a 61-30 victory over St. Raphael Academy. Cranston West might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won four matchups by 22 points or more this season.
Cranston West's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Olivia Tedeschi-Moran, who scored 17 points along with five assists and four steals. Those 17 points set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Kyla Buco, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Cranston West pushed their record up to 7-4 with that win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.7 points per game. As for St. Raphael Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
