The Guyer Wildcats will head out on the road to take on the Rock Hill Blue Hawks at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither Guyer nor Rock Hill posted many goals in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.
Last Friday, Guyer didn't have quite enough to beat McKinney and fell 2-1. It was the first time this season that Guyer let down their fans at home.
Meanwhile, Rock Hill's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They suffered a tough 4-1 loss at the hands of Boyd. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Rock Hill in their matchups with Boyd: they've now lost three in a row.
Guyer has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-4-2 record this season. As for Rock Hill, they dropped their record down to 1-10-1 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Guyer suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Rock Hill in their previous matchup back in March of 2023. Can Guyer avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
