The Woodson Warriors and the Friendship Collegiate Academy Knights squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but sadly the Woodson Warriors had to settle for second. They were outmatched by the Knights on the road and fell 42-0. Woodson has struggled against Friendship Collegiate Academy recently, as their game on Saturday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Among those leading the charge was Brenton Toles, who threw for 142 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
Woodson's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Friendship Collegiate Academy, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-2.
Woodson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Friendship Collegiate Academy will face off against Dunbar at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Dunbar is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
