Kennedy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Perla Reyes, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zahniya Castillo , who scored eight points along with 11 rebounds and three steals.
This is the second loss in a row for Nutley and nudges their season record down to 3-3. As for Kennedy, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.
Nutley will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Linden at 11:50 a.m. on Saturday. Kennedy will finish 2023 at home by hosting Trenton Central at 3:50 p.m. on Saturday.
