West Milford suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Thursday. They had to suffer through a rough 81-51 loss at the hands of Wayne Valley. West Milford has struggled against Wayne Valley recently, as their matchup on Thursday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Hawthorne Christian had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat Palisades Park 62-29 at home. Hawthorne Christian's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
West Milford has not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Hawthorne Christian, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-8.
