After two weeks on the road, Woodstock is heading back home. On Friday they take on Poultney at 7:00 PM. Woodstock have bulldozed their previous five opponents, so Poultney might have their hands full.
Last Saturday, Woodstock put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season. They steamrollered Mill River 48-8.
Meanwhile, if Poultney were riding high off their 48-26 takedown of Mill River two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Poultney took a serious blow against Fair Haven, falling 20-62. Poultney's defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
Woodstock's victory lifted them to 5-0 while Poultney's loss dropped them down to 4-1. We'll see if Woodstock's success rolls on or if Poultney are able to steal their positive momentum.
