Cedar Cliff scored a stunning upset when it knocked off Bishop McDevitt, 49-41. At the time, the Crusaders were ranked fourth in the state, while the Colts were 34th.
Mechanicsburg moved up to 180 from 218 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Mid-Penn - Keystone. The Wildcats were able to move up by beating Susquehanna Township 31-28.
Kalob Ware was a beast in the backfield as Lower Dauphin bested Palmyra.
Andrew Ford threw for 412 yards and 6 touchdowns. He went 21-32 with 1 interception.
Ware was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 221 yards on 15 carries as the Falcons beat Bishop McDevitt. Teammate Angel Cruz added to the ground attack by rushing for 52 yards.
6-foot-3 quarterback Ford of Jim Cantafio's team is the league leader in passing yards this season with 2,200. He has also thrown 27 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Mitchell Cooper. The Palmyra star has 71 catches for 1,089 yards.
Lower Dauphin's Troy Spencer needs only 97 yards against Hershey next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season. Spencer has rushed for 903 yards on 141 carries so far this year.
At the moment, the Trojans are in fourth, while Rob Klock's team is in first.
The Colts were able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after defeating Jeff Weachter's team. Cedar Cliff came in at 23 in the state poll after placing at number 34 last week.
