Basketball Recap: Henry Morris Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Ben Lippen

Heathwood Hall Episcopal won the last time they faced Ben Lippen and things went their way on Friday too. The Heathwood Hall Episcopal Highlanders came out on top against the Ben Lippen Falcons by a score of 65-57. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Highlanders.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Heathwood Hall Episcopal to victory, but perhaps none more so than Henry Morris, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 boards. That's the most points Morris has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamauri Hunter, who posted 14 points along with six assists and six rebounds.

Heathwood Hall Episcopal smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in three consecutive contests.

Heathwood Hall Episcopal pushed their record up to 13-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points per game. As for Ben Lippen, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-4.

Coincidentally, Heathwood Hall Episcopal and Ben Lippen will both be playing Hammond the next time they take the court. Heathwood Hall Episcopal will head out to face Hammond at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Ben Lippen will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
