Even though the Moore Haven Terriers scored an imposing 55 points on Tuesday, the LaBelle Cowboys/Cowgirls still came out on top. LaBelle took their match against Moore Haven 63-55. The victory made it back-to-back wins for LaBelle.
LaBelle got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Marissa Burchard out in front who scored 30 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. The contest was Burchard's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Braulynne Flores was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
LaBelle is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. As for Moore Haven, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. LaBelle will take on Oasis at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Oasis is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. Moore Haven will be home for the holidays to greet McLaughlin at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
