The 21st Century Charter COUGARS entered their tilt with the Lebanon Tigers with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. 21st Century Charter strolled past Lebanon with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 61-43. This was payback for 21st Century Charter, who suffered a 68-63 loss the last time these two teams met.
Lemetrius Williams continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 13 rebounds. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Musaddiq, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.
When it comes to explaining why Lebanon lost, one person who can't be blamed is Kaden Lark. Despite the final result, he scored 26 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Lark scored a full 60.5% of Lebanon's points, the ninth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
21st Century Charter now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Lebanon, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
21st Century Charter's road trip will continue as they head out to face Evansville North at 7:00 p.m. on December 29th. Evansville North knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matches -- so hopefully 21st Century Charter likes a good challenge. Lebanon and Mooresville will face off at 5:00 p.m. on December 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Mooresville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Friday.
