Softball Recap: Swanton Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Swanton put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 16-4 margin over the Pettisville Blackbirds. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Cara Ludlow was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in March of 2025. Another player making a difference was Lacey Shinaver, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Swanton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .622. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pettisville only posted an OBP of .320.

Swanton's victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Swanton will welcome Springfield at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pettisville, they are taking a road trip to challenge Wauseon at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
