The Bluff Dale Bobcats will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Sidney Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Bluff Dale focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 24 on Friday.
Bluff Dale can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 27-25 win over Non Varsity Tournament Opponent. The win was just what Bluff Dale needed coming off of a 52-26 defeat in their prior contest.
Bluff Dale can attribute much of their success to Allie Morris, who scored 20 points along with 3 steals, and Kallie Dotson, who scored 4 points along with 14 rebounds. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Morris has scored at least 25% of Bluff Dale's points.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Sidney, who are still winless after their sixth game. They were the victim of a rough 52-29 defeat at the hands of Florence on Friday.
Santo's victory bumped their season record to 0-0 while Bluff Dale's defeat dropped theirs to 2-5.
Bluff Dale was able to grind out a solid victory over Sidney when the teams last played back in December of 2022, winning 35-28. Does Bluff Dale have another victory up their sleeve, or will Sidney turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
