Pickering was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Lacassine Cardinals, falling 74-44. On the bright side, the 44- point effort marked the Red Devils' highest-scoring contest to date.

Pickering's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Lacassine, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-6.

Pickering wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 58-27 loss against South Beauregard on the 6th. As for Lacassine, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fairview at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cardinals will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 63.08 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
