The Wallkill Panthers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Roosevelt 68-46. Wallkill has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 22 points or more this season.
Zoe Mesuch continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 6 for 14 from beyond the arc en route to 30 points and 3 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Dembinsky, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and six assists.
The win was the eighth in a row for Wallkill, bringing their record for this year to 11-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.8 points per game. As for Roosevelt, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wallkill will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on February 6th. As for Roosevelt, they will take on the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
