Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is Kellis' Third in Last Four Outings

Kellis won the last time they faced Washington, and Jordan Parrish did his part to make sure it happened again. Everything went the Kellis Cougars' way against the Washington Rams on Tuesday as the Kellis Cougars made off with a 72-48 win thanks in part to Parrish, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 18 boards. The game was his fourth in a row with at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Gak Kueth, who posted seven points and 17 rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in boards.

Kellis is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.8 points per game. As for Washington, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-3.

Kellis and Browne will round out the year against one another at at 5:30 p.m. on December 26th. Kellis knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine matches -- so hopefully Browne likes a good challenge. After both having extra time off, Washington and North will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 7:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
