Magoffin County won the last time they faced Betsy Layne, and things went their way on Friday, too. Everything went Magoffin County's way against Betsy Layne as the team secured a 44-0 victory. Magoffin County were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
The win got Magoffin County back to even at 2-2. Betsy Layne are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-4.
Next week Magoffin County take on Harlan at 7:00 PM. Betsy Layne will have some time to rest before their next matchup, which is against Shelby Valley in two weeks at 7:30 PM. Betsy Layne come in off of 4 low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the squad is obviously eager to reverse.
