Mound City's victory was  their sixth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 20-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 50.8 points over those games. As for Worth County, their loss dropped their record down to 8-14.
 Looking ahead, Mound City won't have much time to rest: their next  game is against Rock Port  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Worth County, they will venture away from home to  face off against South Holt  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
