The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Hope Christian Academy in their matchups with the Defenders: they've now lost five in a row.
It was another big night for Kamryn Jenkins, who dropped a double-double on 40 points and 16 rebounds for Old Plank Christian Academy. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jenkins has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jenna Jiannuzzi, who dropped a triple-double on ten points, 17 rebounds, and 11 steals.
Hope Christian Academy dropped their record down to 1-8 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Old Plank Christian Academy, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hope Christian Academy will take on the at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Old Plank Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge the Flashes at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
