The North Thurston Rams will challenge the Lakes Lancers at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in North Thurston's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three games.
On Tuesday, North Thurston got the win against Lincoln by a conclusive 19-2. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Abes recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.
Syriahs Trolson made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit. Trolson was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double.

In other batting news, Isabella Haagen was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Sara Halterman, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
North Thurston was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .393. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .304 or higher in eight consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Lakes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 30-5 to Gig Harbor.
Serenity Melton made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
North Thurston's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Lakes, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.
Lakes' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: North Thurston has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 11.8 hits per game. It's a different story for Lakes, though, as they've been averaging 10.9 hits. Given North Thurston's sizable advantage in that area, the Lancers will need to find a way to close that gap.
