Leading Wesley Chapel to victory were Jayla Isaacs and Dayla Christopher. Isaacs scored five points along with four steals, while Christopher scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and two blocks. Isaacs is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Gianna Como, who scored six points along with three steals.
Wesley Chapel is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. As for Lakeland, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-18.
