Lutheran South Academy entered their tilt with Goose Creek Memorial on Saturday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Patriots. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Pioneers also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2022.

Aniston Collins paced Lutheran South Academy's offense, picking up seven kills. Collins also shared the team's lead in assists with Addison Musgrove: they picked up seven each. Collins was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Lutheran South Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Goose Creek Memorial, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Lutheran South Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against La Porte on the 16th. As for Goose Creek Memorial, they will challenge Clear Brook at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
