The Olympus Titans won against the Desert Hills Thunder last Friday with 52 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. Olympus came out on top against Desert Hills by a score of 52-40. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Olympus.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Olympus to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tessa Cromar, who scored 10 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Keily Trabanino, who scored 12 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
When it comes to explaining why Desert Hills lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jenna Brown. Despite the final result, she scored 20 points along with 7 rebounds. Jacie Riding was another key contributor, scoring 9 points.
Olympus' win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Desert Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Olympus will face off against Snow Canyon at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Snow Canyon focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Thursday. As for Desert Hills, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Springville at 7:00 p.m.
