Boulder City's win came from a few key players Virgin Valley will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Sean Pendleton, who had 11 points. He is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last four games he's played. Aiden Birch was another key player, putting up 11 points.
Boulder City smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in seven consecutive contests.
Boulder City's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.3 points over those games. As for Virgin Valley, their record now sits at 14-10.
Virgin Valley came up short against Boulder City in their previous meeting back in January, falling 58-48. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Pendleton, who went 10 for 14 en route to 25 points. Now that Virgin Valley knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
