Vero Beach (Fla.) extended its winning streak to six games with a 24-10 victory over 
Palm Harbor University (Palm Harbor, Fla.) on Saturday.
The lead that the Indians took on a touchdown run with 3:00 remaining in the first quarter stood up for the duration of the game, as neither team managed to score in the second half.
Dalton Stokes was the top performer for Vero Beach. The junior quarterback threw one touchdown. He has now scored two touchdowns on the season.
The Hurricanes' lone touchdown came on a 16-yard pass in the first quarter.
VB had given up an average of 9.9 points prior to the contest. Palm Harbor University's 10 points were well below its season average of 22.2 per game.
The loss comes after Palm Harbor University defeated Pinellas Park 28-20 last week.
