Potomac School had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They enjoyed a cozy 28-12 victory over the St. John's Catholic Prep Vikings on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Potomac School had a senior duo take command as Akim Iscandari picked up 92 receiving yards and a pair of scores and Sean Sutherland threw for 138 yards and two touchdowns on only ten passes. Iscandari got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 60 yards.
Coming up, Potomac School will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Collegiate at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. As for St. John's Catholic Prep, they will head out to challenge Oakdale at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
