On Friday, Lee put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. They put the hurt on Belchertown with a sharp 28-7 victory. The victory was familiar territory for Lee, who now have six in a row.
After a totally unproductive first quarter, the Lee offense stepped up its game and put 14 points on the board in the second quarter. Meanwhile, Belchertown couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 14-0 heading into the break. Lee put the game away in the third quarter with 14 points from the offense and seven points allowed from the defense. They added further sheen to their flawless record, now 6-0. The loss dropped Belchertown back to even at 3-3.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Lee take on Amherst-Pelham Regional at 7:00 PM. These teams both are strolling into their match after big wins in their previous games. As for Belchertown, they will face off against Ludlow.
