 Lassiter's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Sophie Hortman, who  posted 16 points. The  game was  Hortman's third in a row with at least 16  points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Malia Loadwick, who  put up seven  points and nine  rebounds.
Lassiter's defeat dropped their record down to 13-16. As for Langston Hughes, the  victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 27-2.
 Lassiter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Langston Hughes, they have already played their next matchup,  a  66-34  win against Veterans on the 25th.
