Softball Recap: Nottingham Has No Trouble Against Trenton Central

Nottingham barely beat Trenton Central the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Northstars blew past the Tornadoes 18-4 on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Northstars, who have now won four contests by 12 runs or more so far this season.

Nottingham's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-3. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Trenton Central, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Nottingham wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Robbinsville on the 19th. As for Trenton Central, they will head out to take on Lawrence at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
