Charles City fell to Sussex Central 68-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Middlesex made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 12,773 from 12,906. The improvement came about via a 13-12 victory over the Chargers last week.
West Point's dynamic duo of Robert "Mikey" Anerton and Brandon Jones proved tough for Northampton to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Anerton threw for 284 yards and 5 touchdowns and Jones had 104 yards receiving. Chase Stewart helped West Point's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 104 yards.
The Pointers' dynamic duo of Anerton and Jones proved to be unstoppable against the Yellowjackets, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Kaleb Wake was a key player and the best on defense this week as Middlesex lost to Rappahannock. The 6-foot-2 senior grabbed 2.0 sacks.
Jones was the best receiver in 1A Conference 42 this week as West Point defeated Northampton.
Anerton put up the best numbers in passing as LC Briggs' team bested the Yellowjackets.
Marques Holmes was the most successful running back in the league this week. In 20 carries, he ran for 75 yards as Billy Jarvis' team beat Northampton. Teammate Robert Drewry added to the ground attack by rushing for 61 yards.
He was 10-15 with 1 interceptions.
West Point's Anerton and Edgar "L.A." Allen have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-11 quarterback Anerton has thrown for 802 yards this season, while Allen has 8 catches for 296 yards. Holmes from the Chargers leads the league in rushing with 316 yards.
