The Burton Adventist Academy Angels scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They walked away with a 64-51 win over St. Paul's Prep. The win made it back-to-back wins for Burton Adventist Academy.
It was another big night for Gisselle Herman, who dropped a double-double on 37 points and ten rebounds. That makes it six consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Burton Adventist Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Saniya Reyes, who scored 14 points along with two steals.
When it comes to explaining why St. Paul's Prep lost, one person who can't be blamed is Haylie Hoang. Despite the final result, she almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine rebounds. Hoang is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last four games she's played. Rowen Hughes was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on 18 points and nine rebounds.
Burton Adventist Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-9. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.7 points per game. As for St. Paul's Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11.
Burton Adventist Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. St. Paul's Prep also has no future games currently scheduled.
