After three games on the road, Space Coast is heading back home. They will take on the Satellite Scorpions at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Thursday, Space Coast was able to grind out a solid win over Cocoa Beach, taking the game 62-49. With that win, Space Coast brought their scoring average up to 50.1 points per game.
Space Coast got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Layla Mangum out in front who scored 16 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mangum has scored all season. Taylor Hill was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Meanwhile, Satellite didn't have too much trouble with Cocoa Beach at home on Saturday as they won 53-35.
Space Coast's victory bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Satellite, their win bumped their record up to 5-9.
Space Coast took their win against Satellite in their previous meeting back in December of 2021 by a conclusive 49-24. Does Space Coast have another victory up their sleeve, or will Satellite turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
