The South Kingstown Rebels had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Mt. Pleasant by a score of 24-12 on Thursday. The victory was just what South Kingstown needed coming off of a 26-6 defeat in their prior contest.
South Kingstown's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Mt. Pleasant, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.
South Kingstown will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on North Kingstown at 10:00 a.m. on November 23rd. After each having a week off, Mt. Pleasant and Classical will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 6:00 p.m. on November 21st. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Rhode Island (Classical is ranked 26th, while Mt. Pleasant is ranked 15th).
