Last Thursday, Parkview Baptist was beaten by University Lab 55-21. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Parkview Baptist in their matchups with University Lab: they've now lost five in a row.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Brock Comeaux, who picked up 109 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Comeaux was no stranger to the big play, connecting with a big catch that went for 63 yards. Kayden Tureaud was another key contributor, rushing for 104 yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Jefferson RISE Charter was the victim of a rough 28-6 loss at the hands of South Plaquemines on Friday.
Lamar Montross put forth a good effort for the losing side as he rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown on only six carries.
The losses dropped Parkview Baptist to 8-2 and Jefferson RISE Charter to 4-6.
