Volleyball Recap: Triad Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Triad, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Elgin Comets on Saturday as they made off with a 3-0 win. This was payback for the Cardinals, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

One reason for the win was Triad's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-18, 25-11.

Triad can attribute much of their success to Elley Dorn, who had ten digs and one assist.

Triad's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-2. As for Elgin, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Triad will take on Mechanicsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Elgin, they will face off against Ridgedale at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
