If the Cross Keys Indians were feeling good off their 41-21 takedown of the Howard Hawks last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Cross Keys was beaten by Loganville Christian Academy 66-1 on Thursday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Cross Keys has scored all season.
Loganville Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Gabie Snell, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Snell has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Sanai Cyrus, who scored six points along with ten rebounds and four steals.
Cross Keys' defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Loganville Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 8-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cross Keys will take on Atlanta Jewish Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Loganville Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Lakeview Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th. Lakeview Academy is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
