STEM School Highlands Ranch won the last time they faced Twin Peaks Classical Academy and things went their way on Monday too. The Spartans came out on top in a nail-biter against the Timberwolves, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Spartans have posted since October 9, 2024.

STEM School Highlands Ranch took Twin Peaks Classical Academy into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-12, 17-25, 25-17, 15-12.

STEM School Highlands Ranch's offense was headlined by Elizabeth (Lizzy) Hegemann and Amelia St. Martin, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Evelyn (Evie) Grubb and her 27 assists. Hegemann was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

STEM School Highlands Ranch has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season. As for Twin Peaks Classical Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.

Meanwhile, Twin Peaks Classical Academy is set to challenge their familiar foe Addenbrooke Classical Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
