Meanwhile, East Palestine's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 82-54 loss at the hands of David Anderson. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat East Palestine has suffered against David Anderson since February 6, 2021.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from RJ May, who scored 19 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Owen Jurjavicic was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six assists.
Even though they lost, East Palestine were working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Academy for Urban Scholars' defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-11. As for East Palestine, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.
